The Lowes Hill Conservative Team

Dear Resident,

I am delighted and proud to have been selected as the Prospective Candidate for the new Lowes Hill Ward, which has been created by the Boundary Commission. The Election is next May 2015 and, until then, I will be working and liaising with your present councillors.

I have 3 years experience as a District Councillor representing Slideslow ward, which I have found tremendously rewarding, and now I have the opportunity to stand for the ward, in which I live and that, I believe, is a distinct advantage to be on hand living in the middle of the ward and seeing and hearing from residents and neighbours first hand.

I am the Managing Director of a steel processing company and Chairman of Redditch and Bromsgrove Manufacturing Association.

During the last 3 years, I have gained a lot of public service experience including deputy Chairman of the District Council, member of the Planning Committee and the Overview and Scrutiny Board, which oversees the work of the Council and carries out checks and balances on all aspects and in all areas of the Council's business. I am also a member of the Appeals Panel and Chairman of the Bromsgrove Scouts Association.

I love living in Bromsgrove and enjoy the surrounding countryside. The future is great and exciting for Bromsgrove and I feel privileged to have been part of the Conservative group of the Council for the last 3 yean.
